I'd rather they didn't in all honesty.
I am getting a lot of play from GamesPass, to me it is so worth the price of entry.
If it becomes reality that game quality starts to degrade and are not as good. I'll unsubscribe.

I didn't have a Wii U (or a Wii for that matter), and am going in sight unseen fortunately. I haven't got passed the base game yet to try Fury so can't comment on it.
I am not saying LM3 was bad at all, it just didn't resonate with me as much as I expected it to. I had only played the GC original one and remember enjoying it a lot at the time.
Me being one of them. This to me is the best Mario franchise game I have played in a while. I wasn't actually mad for Odyssey or Luigis Mansion 3... I thought I was suffering franchise burnout. I actually forgot I had this pre-ordered so it came to me as a double surprise. 1) It arriving through he post on Friday 2) How bloody good it is.
I couldn't get a PS5, too slow on pre-orders. I bagged and settled on a series X... I see no issue with Phoenixwings statement.
I do agree though, both are great consoles. I am certainly not unhappy with my X.
Nobody is saying to take out the way you play and replace it, it's a matter of adding accessibility to a wider audience. You still get to be you and do what you love. I wouldn't dream of changing that.
I am in the same boat... 38, with children. I recently bought Dark Souls remake, with the time I have to play and the way that game works (basically grind the same bit until mastery) I just can't meaningfully progress. It's a shame as I really want to explore that world, it's a cracking game. But the pacing/delivery is too slow.
Slightly off topic I'd argue Dark Souls isn't what I consider "hard", it's more of a grind at least how I have...
I've stopped being suckered in. I am burnt out from Mario series in general right now... Some Wave Race and F-Zero would get me interested again. But I am all plumbered out.
I'd like to see some non-sim racers back.

Personally I really enoyed GT sport. Initially the lack of career was a bummer, but I really got into the online side of things... The first GT game I genuinely improved on, as online I can't set the difficulty down :P
Maybe your TV is better than mine, but if I use motion smoothing I get some strange input lag.
Same, finished it last night. It's a solid 7/10. Plenty to enjoy, some nice moments (the VO work of the Maw I particularly enjoyed). At the very least they have had a good stab at doing something a bit different, for the most part it works.
I am about 2 hours in now. I am enjoying it, but there is no denying it is just a fair to middling game. Fine for a short term distraction. It lives up to its title put it that way.
